Richard Peterson

Richard Peterson was elected in 2015 to the Board of Supervisors. His current term ends at the end of 2026. Peterson currently serves as the Board' s Public Relations & Information Office and on several SWCD committees including the Watershed Alliance for the Greater Zumbro and the Budget Committee.
John Larson

John Larson was elected in 2025 to the Board of Supervisors. His current term ends at the end of 2028. Larson currently serves as the Board Chairman and on several committees including the Southeast SWCD Joint Powers Board, Operational Handbook Committee, and the Personnel Committee.
Roger Bongers

Roger Bongers was elected in 2023 to the Board of Supervisors. His current term ends at the end of 2026. Bongers currently serves as the Board Treasurer and on several SWCD committees including the Cannon River Watershed Joint Powers Board and the Conservation Tillage & Soil Health Committee.
Bongers is a lifelong resident and farmer of Rice County. He began using no-till in 2018 and growing cover crops in 2019. He has also implemented grassed waterways and buffer strips on his farm along the Cannon River.
Bongers is a past 4-H leader and member of the Faribault Jaycee’s.
Alexander (Al) Malecha

Al (Alexander) Malecha was elected in 2025 to the Board of Supervisors. His current term ends at the end of 2028. Al currently serves as the Board Secretary and on two SWCD committees including the Operational Handbook Committee, Personnel Committee and the Lower MN Watershed East Joint Powers Board.
