About the event

Individuals from across the region are invited to come together for an evening of women-focused conversation, connection, and inspiration focused on conservation across the landscape.

The Rice County Soil and Water Conservation District and Minnesota Women in Conservation will host a special gathering on Wednesday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Straight River Room at the Rice County Fairgrounds in Faribault.

This free event is designed to bring together those who care about the land and water in their communities. Whether participants are farmers, landowners, lakeshore residents, conservation professionals, or simply interested in learning more, the evening will offer a welcoming space to connect and share ideas.

Topics of interest may include restoring native prairie, improving soil health, planting trees, regenerative farming, enhancing wildlife habitat, and protecting the water quality of local lakes and streams. The gathering will encourage conversation and collaboration among women who are working in different ways…
