A medium sized to large tree that grows 60 to 80’ tall. Fast-growing and tolerant of most soil types but prefers well drained soils.  Prefers full sun.  Suitable for windbreaks, wildlife habitat, and riparian plantings.  Flowers are desirable for pollinators.  Plant 15-20’ apart in windbreaks.
