Paper Birch- A fast-growing native tree that grows to 70’ tall. Prefers full sun and well-drained soils. Best known by its distinctive white, flaking bark. Leaves turn bright yellow in the fall. Popular landscape tree and great for riparian buffers and wildlife plantings. Deer will browse bark while birds and small mammals will eat buds, catkins, and seeds. Plant to Plant spacing in wildlife plantings is 10’-15’.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING MESSAGE: All orders are shipped to the Rice County Fairgrounds for customer pickup during the Annual Tree Pickup Day, which takes place during mid April. Pickup instructions will be emailed to you prior to the event. Orders do not ship to your home.
